Story
Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. My fantastic friend, Carol will once again be walking the 5k at Sefton park with me on Sunday. This year has been one of great change in my own personal cancer journey. My side effects from the chemo have increased, bringing more pain and other medical conditions. However, I was referred to Queenscourt hospice and they have helped to put together a new pain plan which is working slowly. It is with great regret though, I have made the decision to apply for ill-health retirement and leave the job I love. It is now time to start a new chapter of my life with the help of all my wonderful family and friends who continually give me a reason to fight. They ensure I keep positive on the hard days and have a smile on my face. More importantly, they help to raise as much money as possible to hopefully one day get rid of cancer for good. This year they have fundraised either personally or through a group effort such as the afternoon tea for breast cancer. I am eternally grateful to all who have given so generously. I want everyone to continue raising money and help me to as long as I am fit and able. Please, support Carol and I in making a huge difference to cancer survivor's lives.
