We want to do the Race for Life 10km because we simply love running together and Cara decided to set us a challenge! At the age of 6, Cara bought her PE bag home from school saying she wanted to do Parkrun, and that was it...we’ve been running ever since! Cara is 10 this year so running 10km is appropriate! We would love to raise some money for Cancer Research as we have close friends who have had their lives affected by cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
