Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. We want a better future for our kids, friends and family, a world without cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which is an awful statistic. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Cancer has affected our family personally, so raising money for this cause is very close to our hearts. My cancer story began in May 2016 when I was diagnosed with a rare but curable form of woman’s cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy for 6 months. The chemotherapy was really tough on my body and I struggled a lot, but thanks to Cancer Research there were drugs available to help manage through the very strong side effects of chemotherapy and enable me to go home after the treatments. Cancer research is helping to early diagnose, cure cancer and improve life for those living with cancer. Thank you for your donation and supporting this important cause!
