Story
We have all been touched in some way by someone who is going through the challenges of dealing with Cancer. Most people know that myself and my family are facing this daily with my Mum. We have been on this painful, heart breaking journey for a while now and like everyone would like to find a cure, not just for my mum but for everyone. Every single person who is fighting this awful disease. The other thing most people know about me is that when I encounter anything properly hard, I need a challenge to get through it, a reason to face everyday with the knowledge that this day I could get that call that would break my heart. So next year myself and Adam, the most supportive, caring man in the world (Obvs apart from my dad)! Are running the Brighton Marathon! Hurrah! We have the most loving supportive families and our families are both touched by family members going through this. Life can be shit, it can be hard and we are going to hurt but we are running this marathon for all our friends, family members, friends family members and people who we pass on the street that we wouldn’t even know are fighting this bloody awful disease.
