Story
Anyone who knows me will know excercise is not my thing at all, but when my 9 year old daughter asked if we could do race for life in memory of her Auntie Dot and Auntie Kath it brought a tear to my eye. How could I say no to such an important cause, especially when I lost my grandad to cancer too. I quickly dragged my friend Rachel into the team as running is not her thing either. Since then Rachel's mum has been diagnosed with cancer so this makes what we are doing even more important to us all. We will not manage to run the whole way but even if it means walking we will finish the race. We really hope you can dig deep and help us with this really important fundraiser. Abigail's first event of this type. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
