We are all taking part in this special event to raise money for a charity that is close to our hearts but also in memory of our dear mums (Kirstie and Grace’s mums). In December 2017, my lovely mum Irene was shockingly diagnosed with a rare cancer, linitis plastica of the stomach. She showed no signs of illness before November 2017. Once diagnosed and investigated further, we were told there was nothing that could be done. My mum sadly passed away 7 weeks after diagnosis in January 2018. I miss my best friend everyday. She was and will always be my world. Please help us raise money for a very worthy cause. Kirstie x In April 2019 I lost my wonderful mum after her 4 year battle with breast cancer. Over the 4 years she went through so much, but was always strong and only shared her battle with those closest to her. My mum was the strongest, most generous person and the loss we feel as a family will never go away. Now I have my own little girl and know if I become half as good a mum as mine, my little girl will be lucky. Please help us raise money for this wonderful cause. Grace x Doing this event together with our partners will be such a special moment to share together as besit friends. We have both experienced a lot of heartache and supported each other through everything. Doing this walk together in memory of our mums will be an honour. We know there are so many people out there who are suffering from this terrible illness or are going through heartache, supporting those they love or grieving for those they've lost.
