My Story
This summer I found out that a friend who is 31 years old like me, was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. She is currently fighting her way through chemo. I felt heartbroken and helpless from the news and I wanted to do something to support her. So I signed up for the half marathon Shine Night walk. Although this fundraising won't help her directly, it will contribute to the invaluable cancer research this charity does. It might even help improve the early diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma. I'm holding my friend in my thoughts every day and because she is incredibly strong and positive, I'm confident she will come out of this as a winner. Please help with even as little as a price of a coffee to support cancer research. Thank you Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
