My Story
In memory of Grandma Elsie ... forever in our hearts! I know these last 18 months have been tough and tiring for everyone, so I mean it when I say any little donation helps. I am determined to take something positive from what seems like an endless time of uncertainty and negativity. Restrictions have lifted, and slowly life is returning to “normal” for so many of us. My event has been rescheduled and I will be completing my Race for life on the 17th October. Please join me by helping me reach my target. Thank you everyone. 💗 Now, down to my reasoning... Grandma Elsie...❤️ Although you’ve been gone for what feels like an eternity, I have what feels like a lifetimes worth of memories that I will cherish forever. Like how we used to share that chair to watch Casualty and no matter how big I got, you were adamant I could still fit in there with you. I reckon you’d still let me try and squeeze on that corner now if you could. OR - how we’d come back from the Farsley Liberal club on a Saturday night and you’d make us hot chocolate and the best toast ever! Before tucking us in to bed... thankfully with your teeth in, because Grandad always had his out! 🙈 And the time we watched weakest link and you couldn’t grasp how 90 seconds was a minute and a half. Oh how I still laugh at that now! 😂 Miss you Grandma! Love you always! ❤️
