Race for Life at Home
Sat 24 Apr 2021 - Mon 24 May 2021
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. I am using my training to complete the 5K as part of my rehab following Covid I’m walking to help fight the lasting shortness of breath and fatigue!! As a nurse I have worked with cancer patients during my career and the full effects of Covid on cancer patients is still yet to be seen! I’m also taking part as I remember only too well sitting with my best friend in the hospice 10 years ago and I am proud to say 10 years later I am walking beside her in Race for Life to remember John Joy and all the friends and family who we have lost or who are fighting cancer today!! That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/race-for-life-at-home
