Sophie and Zoe Walk All Over Cancer
Sophie was really keen to challenge herself to walk 10,000 steps a day so she persuaded me to sign us up for this cancer research challenge. So far we've managed it with over 565k steps between us.
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. This March Sophie and I are walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. My Dad was lucky enough to benefit from cancer research and his treatment successfully beat his bowel cancer. Sadly his Dad and more recently his brother weren't so lucky so this important research is much needed. Sophie has been gathering sponsorship in person from friends and family but she hasn't yet beat her target of £100 so if anyone is able to sponsor us that would be great. We have been achieving our steps by doing what we can in the day and then by pacing round the neighbourhood together in the evenings. By this time the sofa is usually calling but we've kept at it. Sophies is beating me at the stepping so far as her average is over 12k a day with mine at just 11k! I think her school trip to France helped with lots of walking whilst sightseeing!
