I'm taking part in this Virtual Race for Life for Cancer Research which is a cause that's close to my heart. I've seen people close to me fight and win against cancer, but also been devastated by those who have not been so lucky. Cancer diagnosis, treatment and fun raising efforts have been massively impacted by Covid over the last year so I want to do all I can to raise vital funds so that we see more survive this terrible disease. I have been doing to couch to 5K during lockdown and have set myself a target to run the full 5K - for those of you who know me well know I am not a natural born runner but its a great way of working to a personal and charitable goal!!! I know financially things are very difficult for many so please donate what you can, even £1 helps! Therefore, if I hit or exceed my money raised target I will donate an additional £250!!!
