Getting muddy for a good cause!!!
In memory of
Elaine Graham
11th Jul 1947 - 9th May 2017
Sadly Cancer has been no stranger to my family and friends in recent years. My dear Dad has fought and survived the terrible disease twice, he is a fighter and showed Cancer who's Boss! Sadly not all have managed to beat this beast. I have lost a lovely friend to Cancer and most recently my Mother in Law Elaine passed away this month after a very short battle. She was a strong, independent woman who was (and still is) an important figure in our lives, so I feel it is only right to do this Race for Life this year in memory of her, my friend Denise and to raise money to find a cure, so more people like my Dad can survive. I know that Elaine will find me "running" (slowly, very slowly.... ok walking!!) in mud very humorous and will be looking down cheering me on (or just laughing at me!!). I do not want to lose anyone else in my life to this terrible, nasty disease, so please give what you can so we can fight this together!!! Thank you, Zena XXX
