I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK
In memory of
Annette Boyd
21st Jun 1967 - 22nd Feb 2001
Thank you so much for spending the time to visit this page. In July I will be running the 5k race for life in support of Cancer Research UK. Anyone who knows me will know that I'm not very good at running and tend to get out of breath after a minute or two so this is a big challenge for me, but one that I am very excited to take on. I am raising money in memory of my Mum Annette Boyd who died from breast cancer in 2001 at just 33. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer at just 19 and after going into remission started helping and supporting others who had gone through similar things. She loved traveling, music and horse riding. She was an incredible and inspirational person who lived her life to the fullest. My Mum died when I was just 3 months old. Loosing a parent is something no one should have to go through, especially at such a young age. Growing up without my Mum has meant I never got to do things like go shopping with her or spend Mother's Day together. This charity is very close to my heart and it would mean so much if you could support me. One day a cure for cancer will be found but until that day charities like Cancer Research UK need as much help as possible to continue with their incredible work. I love you Mummy ❤
