Zahra's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page
Since I can remember, I have seen and heard of an immeasurable number of people who have been diagnosed with cancer. It is becoming more and more prevalent among us and it is about time we try and do our part to help beat it. Cancer doesn’t discriminate; it doesn’t look at your gender, race, religion or age; and that is the scariest part of it. Ever so often, you come across an opportunity that you are just instantly drawn too and know in your heart you must take. This cause is one close to my heart. Personally, what hit me the hardest was when my 18 year old cousin was diagnosed with Leukaemia. He fought incredibly hard and by the grace of Allah, is now cancer free. This was when I realised and saw the hard hitting impact these disease can really have. Cancer research helps fund scientists, doctors and nurses so that they can help beat cancer sooner. Even a pound donated is one step closer to that all important cure. I am going to be exerting all my efforts to achieve my 10,000 steps a day to raise money for a great and necessary cause. Every little helps. I’ll do my best to upload my progress. Thank you to everyone for your support. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page.
