Everyone that has lost their battle and those fighting it
Thank you for visiting my page. Those of you that know me will know I do a fundraiser most years. This year I have chosen Cancer Research, because this year cancer is directly affecting my family. My big sister has been re-diagnosed after nearly 20 years clear. She is now receiving palliative care. My best friend has fought back from breast cancer. My aim this year is to raise more than in previous years, to give more to Cancer Research, to help them save people I love. We all know someone that has been through this nightmare, or even been through it ourselves, we have to keep working on this, its killing too many. I am sure there is a cure out there, its just about getting enough money to keep the research going, to keep raising money, for however long it takes. We have to assume that someone working on this will eventually crack it and have that eureka moment, will give us all something to cheer about.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
