My Story
I'm running this 10K in memory of my brave mum who fought non Hodgkin's lymphoma with dignity and courage but devastatingly lost the battle. I'm running this years event with my extremely brave and beautiful friend Sara Yardley who has battled cancer and won the fight. Sara is not a runner but has steadfastly stuck to training with me and by herself over the last five weeks. I'm so proud of her determination and courage. I have not ran for over 18 months due to injury but together we are a formidable force and hope to raise money to try to eradicate this horrendous disease.
