My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. As a community school we have many staff and pupils who have been directly affected by this cruel disease. There are many tragic stories which have had a huge impact on all of our lives. However, there are also many positive stories of how people have battled and overcome their illness and are now living healthily once more. Stories like this are no doubt made possible due to the incredible fundraising efforts made by the public year-on-year. Therefore, we ask you to support us in our efforts to reach and exceed our target of £5000 and give our pupils the chance to achieve something great as individuals and as a collective.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
