I thought I’d only taken part in 3 Race for Life events before but I’ve actually done 5! All of these were 5k runs and I didn’t even train for them, just rocked up on the day and ran as best I could and it was probably the only exercise I’d done all year! 🙈 This time, I’m doing a 10K run and I intend to run the whole thing - maybe even try a PB, who knows! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which is a scary statistic. I fortunately haven’t personally been affected by Cancer in my life so far, but I do know many people who have. I’d like to do what I can to help this cause which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Every penny counts, and even if you can only donate a pound, it still makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work! Thank you! 💕
