My Story
The last time I ran a Race for Life was back in July 2018. During this time, both my parents were living with cancer. Sadly my wonderful parents both lost their battle with cancer in August 2018 and October 2022 respectively. May Allah grant them Jannah and accept this as Sadaqah Jariya for them (ongoing charity). Ameen. It is in their memory that I am running this race to try and help others beat cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
