Rather than marshalling, we have decided to walk it again this year for a cause very close to us ?
My Story
Last year we had a break from raising money and decided to be on the other side where we supported all of the walkers- however we ended up dancing about just as many steps anyway! This year we are back to it... we want to walk it again and raise money to help and prevent the suffering caused to people and their families who are battling cancer. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small, so please support us if you can! ☺️
CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
