My Story
The Grandma Run was inspired by the memory of Jean Page. Burrator Reservoir was used as a training ground for many of the Page family's charity runs and Grandma Page was always there supporting them. Relay for Life Plymouth invite you to join them at the third Grandma Run event to celebrate all of our grandparents, some of whom may have been taken by cancer. We will be fighting back by remembering them, celebrating them and raising money for Cancer Research UK. So come along and run, walk, skip or jog around Burrator- dressing up as your favourite Grandma optional! We will be meeting on the dam from 10:00am and will be setting off at 11:00am, all at our own pace, all to beat cancer sooner. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
