Glenn Brooke.
10th Jun 1954 - 9th Jun 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page in memory of Glenn Brooke, a great friend and mentor to me. He was a true gentleman and had all the time in the world to give. He sadly lost his battle with cancer on 9/6/2013 aged only 58. He was very well respected farrier and was very successful winning numerous farrier competitions. Some of his many achievements include being the Yorkshire Champion and national shire horse champion several times. He also won many classes at The Great Yorkshire show. He was the farrier for Samuel Smiths brewery and famously shod Dickinson's famous five in the Cheltenham Gold Cup 1983 race. Glenn shod the first 5 finishes in the race for trainer Michael Dickinson. He is sadly missed by all his family and friends. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today or donate by purchase a Beanie Tools ltd Wrap around hoof sander, £5 from each sale will be donated to this page. Then my exclusive dealer Handmadeshoes will also donate £5 to Breast cancer in the memory of Lucy Crothers. So where ever you buy the sander in the world you will be supporting 2 great causes. Please together help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
