My Story
Daniel in P2 was just 2 years old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). He had been unwell for a few months and after blood tests he was diagnosed and admitted into the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh. (ALL) Leukaemia is cancer of the blood. Daniel then spent the next three years going through chemotherapy and has now gone one year without treatment. Daniel is keeping well and will need to go for regular check ups at Sick Kids until he is 14 years old. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
