We are raising as much as we can to beat cancer
In memory of
Emma Wood
Last year we lost a very special person and we all miss her dearly - there isn't a day that goes by where we don't think of Emma. We were going to run the Race for Life but that has obviously been cancelled. Charities are suffering in the current climate so last Sunday we decided to run / cycle our own race. Colin ran home over the Chilterns after work on Saturday (midnight) then finished off a marathon with the girls when he got home (6.2km). He now needs to get ready to go back to work for his shift this afternoon! The rest of us aren't quite so mad / fit... Hoshna, Bea & Helen ran 10km with Emily on the bike. The Goodmans were that motivated that they cycled 20km on Saturday and a further 20km today (with Ellen on the back). We all remained socially distanced - completing our challenges in different towns! The results are in : The Woods & Bea came first in the Wallingford Challenge Colin won the Midnight marathon between shifts. The Goodmans came first in the Thame Challenge Hoshna came first in the Leicester Challenge The Hills came first in the Wendover Challenge The only loser = Cancer
