We’re taking on The Great Row to raise funds for Cancer Research UK's life-saving work
My Story
WivGigs Rowing Club is taking on CRUK's The Great Row. Between us we’re aiming to row a marathon during FebROWary in our trusty gig Audacity. It’s not going to be easy - we’re a local community rowing club and we’ll be taking on the Essex tides and weather. But it will be worth it. Devastatingly, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. But advances in science have put cures within our grasp. Please encourage us in our rowing marathon along the River Colne and other parts of the beautiful Essex coast by sponsoring us.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
