I am running the Race for Life 10k run in honour of my Mum who is a cancer survivor. She is the kindest and bravest woman I know, who gives all her love and support to our family. I want to raise as much money as I can to help others in need too, this is a horrible illness and no one deserves to go through the pain and suffering it causes, not just to themselves but families as well. This charity helps those who suffer and I have seen first hand the hard work they have done and my Mum is proof of this. Please donate what ever you can, any amount is appreciated. With the success of this fundraiser I will look at doing more in the future.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
