My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I have had 2 operations for skin cancer and both were 100% successful. Looks like I need another one but I don't mind waiting. I've lived my life and I would not change a second of it, good or bad. Helping others is a surely the best reason for living. Fight for the right to a life and beat cancer. We can.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
