2019 Brighton Marathon

My Story

I will be running the 2019 Brighton Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer has had a huge impact on my family for generations. Over the past 6 months, womb, bowel and prostate cancer have affected (and are still affecting) my immediate family; and, in the last fifteen years, kidney, stomach and bone metastasis also. Cancer is heart-breaking, cruel and completely unfair and it's happening right now! Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. There's no time to lose!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
