We're taking part in Race for Life Schools to raise money to beat cancer sooner. As a school, we have been doing our run a mile for some time and we want to challenge ourselves that little bit more.

Over 600 children and 50 staff here at Westgate will be taking part in our own Race for Life in June. Our mission is to raise as much money as possible and make the event a real success.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work and we would appreciate any donation. Every penny counts.

We hope you can show your support on the day too! Together we'll beat cancer.
