Children at West Park Academy are raising money to help beat cancer.
On Wednesday 5th April 2017 all the children will be participating in a whole school Race for Life where we hope to raise a generous amount for Cancer Research UK. The children from Year 1 - Year 6 will do a one mile marked out run within the school grounds, the Nursery and Reception children will be taking part in a 'Toddle Waddle'. This will all take place during the day.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
