I'm running for family and friends who have had or are currently living with cancer.
My Story
This time last year my friend Maria was being treated for breast cancer - and still found the energy to take part in Race for Life. I'd had my 2nd baby a few months before and didn't feel able to join her team. I promised to take part this year though, and so here I am. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
