Veronica
My Story
Having lost several members of my family to this awful disease, most recently my beloved sister Veronica, I have decided together with my niece Ellie to sign up for Race for Life this September. Veronica lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday 30th June 2021 aged 57. Veronica loved family, the countryside, was the queen of Christmas and could talk endlessly about food! But above all else she was kind, loving and generous and a fantastic mum and she will leave a huge void in our lives. Ellie is only 16 and together we hope we can do our bit to ensure that families don't need to go through the pain and heartbreak of losing a family member at such a young age.
