Wendy's Brave the shave 25/07/2020 Giving Page

At last I can do my my head shave on 25th July 2020 at 4pm. If you could come along and support us, that would be super. I’m not so nervous now as I’m at the stage where my hair is driving me crazy. I’d just like to ay a massive THANK YOU to all the girls at LE SALON, in Shirley for allowing me to do my head shave at their salon in what I know is a very busy time for hairdressers. I’d like to thank everyone who has already donated. Between now and the day ill will try to work out how to do a live video on Facebook. I’ll call Christie Wheeler for some assistance, as she is my technical advisor. Onwards and upwards everybody. Hope to see some of you there. Please stay safe and well. I have decided to do the BRAVE THE SHAVE at this particular time in my life due to the realisation that ALL of us have either suffered with a form of cancer, we all know someone who is currently being treated, and someone who is currently dying of this dreadful disease. Unfortunately a dear friend of mine, Mrs Cooper died on Friday 31st January 2020 of lung cancer, she won’t even get to see how much money we will raise. Another dear friend is also currently dying of lung cancer too. My mum was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, my husbands nan died last year of lung cancer and several years ago my brother had testicular cancer. I will be doing Brave the Shave at LE SALON HAIRDRESSERS, SHIRLEY HIGH ST, 25TH APRIL AT 3PM. PLEASE come along and support us. My fantastic friend RITA MAUNDERS will be shaving my head to the skin.
