My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Not only will your support and generous donations help raise money for this amazingly worthy cause, but you will also be helping me to stay on track for the whole month (unlike my attempt at a dry one last January!) My hope is that by giving up alcohol for one month, I will save calories and hopefully shed some pounds. I also believe that by having a clearer head on the weekends, I will become more productive and be able to work on a healthier lifestyle. My overall aim is to dedicate more of my time to help other great causes, such as this one.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
