My Story

I've never had cancer, but I've experienced debilitating illness requiring multiple surgeries for an abnormal growth that was killing me. I can empathise. I know that leading a normal life is difficult. I know that going in and out of hospital like it's a second home is tiring and soul destroying. I know the repercussions of illness even after you've been treated is a struggle. And I'm lucky enough to have the health now to be active enough to participate in this. My partner Matteo and I are looking to boost our cycling stamina, and what better way to motivate us than for charitable cause. We work in the NHS and come into contact with cancer patients regularly, and know many people who have been affected by this illness. Let's do a nice thing.
