I’m raising money for cancer research in support of my mum and all others facing battles with cancer. A few years ago my mum beat her battle with cancer and since she has organised lots of events raising money for cancer research from charity balls to 5ks (whilst going through treatment!) and to cycling from London to Paris! But unfortunately last year we found out it had returned and is now at stage 4. So me and a few friends have decided to tackle the Welsh three peaks to try and raise money for cancer research. 🏔 👊🏽
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
