Cancer is happening right now, to me, which is why I’m hosting a Coffee Morning to raise money for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! I've had amazing treatment from NHS Scotland and I've been impressed with the levels of personalisation involved in my treatments. This has all been available to me because of research. My own cancer is now gone but I'm being treated still to ensure it won't return but I've become very aware that cancer can indeed return in another area, in disguise and indiscriminately and we need more research to find out why, how, where or when and what is needed to wipe it out for good.
