My Story
Thanks for visiting my page. As you are all aware my mum has secondary bone cancer. Meaning its cancer that has spread from a first cancer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer.. within two months had the operation and was on chemo, she then had radio theapy. This was 7 years ago.. we got over the 3 year clear... then the 5 year and she got discharged from the hospitals. About 4-5 months ago now she was then diagnosed with bone cancer in the top shoulder blade bone meaning its not curable. Shes had 1 weeks worth if radio theapy which was meant to have helped with the pain, she then has a injection every 4 weeks to help the bones get stronger and keep the cancer at bay. Weve recently had a scan and its good news that the injection is helping. Its healing the cancer, this is great news but only so much great news. This prolongs my mums life a little bit more, they gave my mum 5 years... that isnt alot considering my daughter aubree isnt even 1 yet and wont see her nan past 5 years old... i just hope she is 1 that can go past the 5 years and prove all those doctors wrong. So some of you may get bored of me doing these things... the walk off....the bake off... the run... and if you are then p**s off you mean nothing to me haha. Im not asking for a lot £1 would mean so much to me So please help me raise pennies to fight this cause Thank you so much
