My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m jogging 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. In July we lost my beautiful mum to cancer at the tender age of 69. My son and I will be running for Mum/Nana this August as we simply need a focus. We are hoping that we may feel some comfort if we can raise just a little money to help others in the fight towards finding a cure. You never think this will happen to you. You don’t understand the pain of loosing someone so close until it happens to you. Watching the pain and anguish mum suffered at the end was just horrible. Throughout it all mum remained hopeful and we are so fortunate that we could help and be close to her. So here’s to you mum Rocco and I will keep Running in the hope that we will get some comfort. Got to keep going and find a way! Strong as an Ox mum Xx
