Sarah Watkin
I am 'walking all over cancer', a minimum of 10,000 steps every day in March, equivalent to over 150 miles apparently! Our great niece Sarah Watkin died at the age of 7 after an incredibly brave fight against a savage form of cancer. Her mother Leah and her father Mark continue to show remarkable courage and determination in their fight to raise awareness and funds in their native Canada. I want to remember Sarah and her legacy by raising as much money as I can in her honor, to help other children and their families who are battling right now. Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive.
