The Walkfit Warriors from Finsbury Park are taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
The Finsbury Park Walkfit Group is a group of people who meet up about three times a week to exercise together. An instructor leads the group and we have created something really special. The group is formed of a varied age, ability and personalities and we all blend together brilliantly. We have huge success stories and most of us have been affected by cancer - either personally or a loved one. We have grown into strong friendships and want to do something together to help create change. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
