We all have a relative or someone we know that is going or has been through cancer. On my side, I have never known my grandmother who have been taken by the illness, but also my neighbour that I knew since I was a child, my friend's dad who weakened all of a sudden from a diagnosed cancer in a year time, and more recently, I have learnt that a school mate of mine has been diagnosed with cancer... This is not the only stories that are somehow connected to me and I am sure everyone of us know a close relative that has also fight /is fighting against cancer. It can happen to anyone, regardless of your lifestyle or backgrounds. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
