Late Mrs Mofoluwake Osunfisan (Mom) and Late Mrs Dupe Odueyungbo (Aunt)
My name is Laso and I will be participating in a half marathon Walk in September in memory of my mom and my aunt. Last year, I lost both my mom and aunt to cancer. I've always been involved with cancer awareness walk/run in the past, but I never thought it would hit so close to home. As such, my involvement in this walk is a special one. Each year, CancerResearch UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn research into breakthrough that saves millions of lives. I am asking for your generous donations and sponsors to help achieve the set goal. CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
