My Daughter: her hard raised £100 few months back, that we found in her envelope, for Cancer Research by Proactively out of the blue one day suggesting:"I am not going to use Technology for 3 weeks (apart school work!)& raise Money 4 Cancer!" This was a #proudmummymoment 😃 ☆ the little START UP STORY... SO... Cancer… has been on our mind and heart for awhile… ...but with this COVID -19 Pandemic …the last few weeks a little bit more… * WHAT is a CANCER affected person going through right now in this LOCKDOWN PANDEMIC reality??? * Can WE STOP and think for a moment??? This is what came to my mind yesterday when I STOPPED and STARTED thinking... ...Easter 2011- my dad's encounter with it...he passed away after around a 1 month only from acute leukaemia; ...my best friend of over 20 years - last year from breast cancer ... wonderful giving person- only few months older than me. ... The last couple of year’s -cancer has been too much around - over 7 family and friends affected by it - some in remission - so grateful! , Some, sadly like my friend, passed away fighting ... ...What COULD I DO to make a difference? Planning the perfect FUNdRaising Activity... so many cancers... where to start ? ... The clock is ticking... * Let’s JUST START SOMEWHERE… DID YOU KNOW every day nearly 990 people are diagnosed with cancer, and around 450 people die each day from it … I DIDN'T !!! SHOCKING !!! … Imagine the HEARTACHE?
