In 2013 I completed the Madrid marathon and raised £678 for Cancer Research UK. I have now decided to challenge myself again and just got a place to race in the Berlin 2021 marathon (if Covid-19 allows), which will be on 26th September. Nowadays many people are struggling with Covid-19, lockdown measures, etc. but there are still lots of people worldwide suffering from other diseases. Cancer is one of them and although progress has been made in the last years with new treatments, etc. there is still lots more we can do. So I will be racing again a marathon on behalf of Cancer Research UK and I ask you to please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Any amount you can spare will help and please also feel free to share with your contacts. The more donations, the merrier. I have started my marathon training just now and am very committed to keep the necessary discipline to get back into shape and run +42 km or +26 mi. So I will put in the miles, I just need a small contribution from you towards Cancer Research UK to keep my motivation up. Together, nothing is impossible and we will beat cancer. I am positive.😀
