Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My friend Laura was diagnosed with Breast Cancer May 22. She underwent a mastectomy and received reconstruction using Diep Flap. The surgeon done an amazing job. Laura was so strong and kept upbeat throughout the whole process. She hoped this would be enough to get rid of it. Unfortunately the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. September 22 will be the start of her Chemo journey.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
