My Story
I lost my Nanny to pancreatic In 2014 and my Granda to prostate cancer in 2017. Both of my grandparents were filled with so much joy and had so much love for their family. I will forever hold the memories I have of them both in my heart! As well as racing for life in memory of my Nanny and Granda, I will be racing for life for everyone fighting cancer, for everyone surviving cancer, for those loved and those lost and for the FUTURE of cancer! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I am truly passionate about working to help change the cancer story and transform outcomes for cancer patients here in Northern Ireland. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/race-for-life-at-home Thank you so much for your support! Victoria x
