My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Most of you know ‘I’m no Runner’ but I’ve been working hard (mostly) since the new year, and have been enjoying a new challenge! Race for Life is a great starter for me as, like so many others, I have experienced Cancer myself and survived! I support my family and friends also touched by Cancer, some who have survived and those who sadly didn’t. I hope that completing the Race for Life will help this amazing cause of beating Cancer for people in the future. Please help me, by donating what you can! Thank you x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
