Grandad
Thank you for taking the time to ready my just giving page... Not only am I taking part in this 5k to raise money for every single person who has ever fought a battle with cancer, but for also many members of my family. 4 years ago, my grandad was diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s right- breast cancer. We were in complete shock. Male breast cancer is such a small area of research, that we didn’t even really know that it could occur in men. Turns out only 1 in 1000 men will be diagnosed with this. Whilst my grandad didn’t win his fight with cancer, I’m racing to raise vital funds for cancer research. And whether you donate pennies or pounds, every little bit goes along way to fighting this cruel disease. Thank you x 💕

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
