My Story

The loss of many family members to this horrid disease and tragically 2 years ago our family was hit by the loss of the most amazing person you could ever meet. She was taken without warning,not giving any of us the chance to prepare for what we were going to experience within just 4 weeks. It was the most horrendous time for everyone - her children losing their mum so young, my parents, my brothers, my uncle and auntie, my cousins, my children and her abundance of friends. I still find it difficult everyday to comprehend what happened and to go on without a person who had such a huge presence in my life, as I know we all do as a family still to this day. The time is right for me know after thinking about it for 2 years to take part in pretty muddy, as I know this would have been something that Deby would have got a lot of fun from and would definitely “made one in”being fun loving herself. I am by no means fit enough to take part in this at all,but I know alongside my daughter Mollie, her best friend Zura, my best friend Sally and my dearest friend Ruth we will have an amazing time along the way and laugh so much it will hurt!!
